The PACU/PREOP Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the care of the pediatric and adult patient requiring a surgical procedure. The PACU/PREOP RN is a professional nurse who is directly or indirectly responsible for delivering total nursing care to the perioperative patient during the post-operative phases of the perioperative stay.
