The Events Coordinator will support the strategic fundraising priorities of OakBend Medical Center (OBMC) by facilitating the success of the hospital’s fund raising events, employee giving campaign and providing support in other areas of the hospital’s fund raising program as needed. The Events Coordinator will collaborate with OBMC Marketing and Public Relations to promote community-wide understanding and support for OBMC fundraising objectives.

The Appeals Specialist will lead the organization’s denials management process and make recommendations for continuous improvement, including root cause analysis and implementation of processes to consistently reduce denials.
The Accounts Receivable Specialist (A/R Specialist) has responsibility for effectively managing a portion of OakBend Medical Center's Accounts Receivable accounts, including third party payers, government payers, etc. This includes ownership of the timely and accurate collection, resolution and processing of accounts. Under the direct supervision of the Chief of Staff (COS), the Marketing Intern will assist, develop and coordinate a wide variety of marketing projects and activities. The Marketing Intern updates the website, social media campaigns, writes and/or edits marketing and promotional materials including: graphic design projects and print and digital brochures. The marketing intern will work closely with the COS to systematically manage various projects as assigned.
The Business Office Manager assists with the day to day management of the Physical Therapy Business Office. Oversees the activities of Billing, Collection, Patient Access, Accounts Payable and Scheduling responsibilities of the clinic. The Claims Processor is responsible for insuring that all claims are transmitted by the end of each day in a payable format. The Claims Processor must insure the electronic billing vendor receives a successful transmission. This position must insure that all billing reports are in balance on a daily basis. This position is a key element in accounts receivable management. In other words, protecting the financial health of OakBend Medical Center and providing exemplary customer service to our internal and external customers are the crux of this position.

Under the general direction of the Food and Nutrition Services Director, and the direct supervision of a Food Service Supervisor, the Food Service Associate (FSA) is responsible for following established systems and processes to ensure that the strategic and operational objectives of the Patient Dining Programs are accomplished. The FSA assembles, delivers, and retrieves patient meals; sanitizes dishes, utensils, and designated areas; handles stocking and department requisitions. The FSA may use standardized recipes to prepare food items for patient tray line, cafeteria, and special functions. Adheres to all regulatory and agency standards.
Under the Direct Supervision of the VP of Physician Services, the Patient Navigator will work in collaboration and continuous partnership with patients and their family/caregiver(s), clinic/hospital/specialty providers and staff, and community resources to connect patients to relevant community resources, with the goal of enhancing patient health, well-being, decreasing patient readmissions and increasing patient satisfaction.
