Under the general supervision of the Nurse Director and the direct supervision of a Registered   or Licensed Vocational Nurse, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides a variety of patient care activities across life span and accommodative services for assigned patients.  These activities are carried out according to hospital policy, the hospital mission statement, and the philosophy of the Department of Nursing.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care and related assistance to patients in the ICU. The staff nurse provides direction to non-licensed assertive personnel in providing direct patient care. The staff nurse supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Coordinator/DON for Skilled Nursing, the Nursing Department Coordinator is responsible for performing clerical duties and assisting in the day-to-day functioning of the Skilled Nursing Department as assigned. General duties include maintaining the staffing schedules, assisting with time entry and payroll, and preparing data and reports for meetings and management.
