Under the supervision of the Laboratory Director and the Laboratory Manager, the Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting blood samples using venipuncture or skin techniques and obtaining other specimens for ordered diagnostic studies. Also responsible for performing assigned waived testing, charting and faxing all types of patient reports.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for professional nursing care. Provides direction to non-professional nursing personnel in providing direct patient care to neonatal patients. Supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital.

The Surgical Technologist facilitates the operative or other invasive procedure by preparing and providing the required sterile instruments, supplies and equipment. Maintains the sterile field and anticipates and responds to the needs of the surgical team.
The Patient Access Representative is the first line of quality service to our patients and our guests. This position serves as the ambassador of service, setting the standard by which all other departments and services are judged.
The position’s main responsibilities include timely and accurate registrations including but not limited to obtaining demographics information, complete benefit verifications by Alpha Split for Outpatient and Inpatient services, Calculations of Payment for Patient Portion due for services, crossed trained to cover various non licensed positions in the clinic, patient education (regarding benefits) and appropriate authorizations for approved Oak Bend Providers for services rendered are the responsibility of the Patient Access Representative.

In our no wait ER, the Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) is responsible for assisting licensed nursing staff in providing care to patients in the Emergency Care Center. Te ER Tech supports the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital and does provide EKG monitoring for the Emergency Care Center.
