Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director/Manager of the unit, the Clinical Coordinator, RN provides oversight during the assigned shift for the clinical and non-clinical staff in the administering of excellent patient care and customer service. This position assumes clinical responsibility for the specialty by providing orientation, teaching, clinical supervision and evaluation of personnel assigned to the area. In our no wait ER, the Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech) is responsible for assisting licensed nursing staff in providing care to patients in the Emergency Care Center.
