Under the general supervision of the Clinical Coordinator (RN), the Lead Emergency Room Technician (Lead ERT) is responsible for coordination of patient care and customer service, EKG monitoring, and assist licensed nursing staff to provide care to Emergency Care Center patients. The Lead ERT will continue to support the medical care of patients under the direction of the Medical Staff pursuant to the objectives of the hospital. The ASU/PACU RN is responsible for the pre-operative and post-operative care of the surgical patient for the department. Multidimensional responsibilities include patient/family teaching and patient care throughout the pre-anesthesia and post-anesthesia recovery phases of care.
