Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to gain practical experience supporting the Human Resources department. This internship will provide exposure to HR operations through administrative support, data entry, employee file maintenance, onboarding activities, and document management. The HR Intern will assist in maintaining accurate employee records, handling confidential information appropriately, and contributing to efficient daily HR processes while developing foundational Human Resources knowledge and skills.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain and organize employee personnel files, both electronic and paper
  • Scan, upload, and file HR documents in the appropriate systems
  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and new hire documentation
  • Update employee records, licenses, certifications, and other HR-related information
  • Answer phones and respond to general HR inquiries in a professional manner
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to the HR department

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

 

High school diploma or equivalent required; currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

 

Minmum Work Experience:

 

Previous administrative, clerical, or HR support experience preferred

 

Required Licenses/Certifications:

 

None.

 

Required Skills, Knolwedge, and abilities:

  • Strong data entry and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
