Under the general supervision of the Clinical Director and the direct supervision of the Licensed/Registered Nurse. The Certified Nursing Assistant assists with patient care throughout nursing areas and is responsible for the safe transport of patients via wheelchair or stretcher, provides the services of an observer/sitter for any patient who requires constant observation in order to maximizes his/her safety.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High school graduate or GED Required; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience in an accredited healthcare facility preferred
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Certification in the State of Texas as a Nursing Assistant or graduate of nursing program awaiting boards. BLS certified through the American Heart Association.
