Responsibilities

The Registration Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and supervises other non-professional staff in the administering of excellent patient care and customer service. The Registraton Supervisor is responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of the ER registration/admissiions areas. This position is directly responsible for creating, managing, and monitoring processes associated with the Registration function. Staff development, training, hiring, coaching, discipline, and accountabilities associated with job performance are to be developed and administered by the Registration Supervisor.

 

The Registration Supervisor responsibilities/expectations can be summarized into two basic categories: a) high performing and efficient supervision of routine processes, and b) rapport building and maintenance with other departments and the staff.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

 

Associate degree or supervisory experience in related field.

 

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

 

Two years of job related experience.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

 

Must be computer literate, possess good verbal and written communication skills, and excellent analytical skills.
