Under the general supervision of the Laboratory Director and Manager, is responsible for performing clerical duties and assisting the Pathologist and Technologists in the day-to-day functioning of the Laboratory Department. Will be responsible for some phlebotomy duties, assisting in performing approved testing and gathering data for quality reports, tracking reference lab results, etc.
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered. Associates Degree or higher Preferred.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
1-3 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory preferred
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
None.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
The knowledge and skills to perform duties using word processing, database and spreadsheets in the computer and phlebotomy skills preferred.
