Under the general supervision of the Business Office Manager responsible for performing clerical and support duties for the department. The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordinator is also responsible for the coordinator of scheduling requests from physicians and other hospital department. The Coordinator prepares reports as required by the Clinical Director/Administrator.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
High School graduate or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE
Business Office experience preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Certification in AHA’s Basic Life Support.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
Use of paragon and other computer programs, knowledge of medical terminology, and has the ability to utilize good communication skills in order to work well with physicians, staff and customers. Successful completion of any hospital or department specific training courses.
